Become a Member
Individuals of all ages are welcome to become members of the Preble County Council on Aging for just $10 per year. Membership dues are renewed annually in January.
By becoming a member, you help support the programs, services, and activities offered through the Preble County Senior Center while continuing to receive our bi-monthly Senior Scene newsletter without interruption.
As part of our “Early Bird” Membership Program, memberships paid after September 1 will be extended through December 31 of the following year.
Please note: While individuals of any age may become members, most activities and programs are geared toward adults ages 50 and older. In addition, some services may require participants to be age 60 or older as part of the eligibility qualifications.
You must be a current paid member of the Preble County Senior Center to receive the Senior Scene newsletter.
Membership Information and Benefits
There are several benefits of Preble County Council on Aging membership:
VOTING RIGHTS
You have voting rights at the annual meeting in May. You are able to vote on a slate of nominees to serve on the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees set the policies and make plans for the future of PCCOA.
RENTALS
Rent Jack & Betty’s Diner or one of the other rooms at the Senior Center, when available, at a reduced rate. You can celebrate family birthdays, holiday meals, anniversaries, reunions, etc.
BI-MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
You are automatically placed on our mailing list to receive the Senior Center’s bi-monthly “Senior Scene” newsletter, with the latest information on planned trips and events and activities. You can also choose to receive the newsletter electronically. As you travel with the Senior Center, you will receive information on trips as they are planned and flyers are available. Members only receive a bi-monthly newsletter.
DISCOUNTS

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Your membership fee also helps support senior services that we provide to senior citizens in Preble County.
REFER A FRIEND!
Tell your friends and adult family members about the Senior Center. We would love to have them join and participate in activities and events.
PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to be a member to participate in Senior Center events and activities and/or to receive Council on Aging services, but you must be a member to receive the Preble County Senior Center’s bi-monthly “Senior Scene” Newsletter, vote at the Annual Meeting, and discounts on some activities, special events, and trips
